At Pawsitive Connection Dog Training we help Kingman-area dogs (and their people) build calm, reliable manners through clear communication and positive, results-driven methods. Every program starts with understanding your goals and your dog’s unique needs.

The best first step for most families is our 90-minute Consultation & Evaluation. We discuss your dog’s history, challenges, and goals, then recommend the right path — private lessons, board & train, group classes, or service-dog work.

Puppy Training

Give your pup the best start possible so common problems never become habits.

Private Lessons
Ideal for puppies as young as 12 weeks (especially while still finishing vaccines).

Puppy Group Classes (Puppy Essentials)
Once fully vaccinated (ages ~12 weeks–6 months).

  • Sit, down, stay, come, loose-leash walking, polite greetings

  • Bite inhibition, impulse control, and supervised socialization

  • Small groups, weekly goals, and practical tips for home

  • Cost: $160 for 6 weeks

Vaccine Requirements for Group Classes

  • Minimum 3 rounds of Distemper/Parvo

  • Bordetella

  • Rabies (age-appropriate)

  • Negative fecal exam
    All vaccines must be given by a licensed veterinarian.

Board & Train

We handle the heavy lifting while your dog lives and trains with us 24/7 in a structured, low-distraction environment. Only 2 dogs accepted at a time.

  • 4-Week Unlimited – Complete off-leash freedom and calm manners in any environment. Includes 3 private lessons + 6 group classes.

Private Lessons

One-on-one coaching tailored to your dog and schedule.

Group Classes

Fun, small-group training (4–6 dogs) in a controlled indoor/outdoor setting. 6-week sessions, 60 minutes each. Includes weekly goals, homework support, video resources, and a graduation certificate.

  • Advanced Obedience – Off-leash control, bombproof stays, and high-distraction performance (6 classes $160 / 12 classes $300)

Service Dog Training

Help your dog become a reliable working partner that assists with specific tasks related to a disability.

  • Temperament assessment first to confirm suitability

  • Customized programs using Board & Train, Private Lessons, and/or Group Classes

  • Task training (anxiety alert, deep pressure, retrieval, medical alerts, mobility support, and more)

  • Public Access training and evaluation

  • Follows IAADP guidelines (minimum 120 hours, including public work)

We also offer short courses covering service-dog laws, task training recipes, and public-access foundations.

Pet First Aid & CPR

Learn life-saving skills for dogs and cats. Pet Tech certified courses.

  • 6.5-hour First Aid/CPR Course – Core emergency skills (CPR, choking, bleeding, poisoning, shock, etc.) + handbook and 2-year certification. $110

  • 8-hour PetSaver Course – Everything in the core course plus dental care and senior pet care. $140

Also available: 90-minute Hiking & Walking with Your Dog presentation covering trail safety, gear, hydration, and basic trail-side first aid.
