This Therapy Dog Evaluation assesses the skills and temperament required for therapy work, including calmness, friendly behavior around strangers, confidence in new environments, obedience under distraction, and appropriate social interactions with people and other dogs.

Successful teams will demonstrate the gentle, stable, and people-oriented qualities needed to bring comfort and joy to hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and other community settings.
