PRIVATE LESSONS, FOLLOWED BY GROUP CLASSES
“I’ve had enough of dealing with my problem dog, We’ve tried everything. Please help!!”
We’ve heard this so many times. Often clients come to us as “last resort” because everything else they’ve tried has failed. They read the books, watched the YouTube videos, tried what they’ve always done, or what others have recommended. They even took classes from other local trainers, but nothing seemed to work.
The dog is still jumping on guests, still pulling on the leash, still not coming when called, and still rude and pushy. We knew we could help dog owners in our community reach their goals in a short time.
Our private lessons are designed to help your dog develop a solid foundation in basic obedience and essential skills that will serve as the groundwork for more advanced training. We offer programs of 3, 5, or 8 lessons, allowing you to choose what best fits your needs and schedule. These sessions are conducted at our well-equipped training facility to provide a controlled environment conducive to learning. Additionally, we can meet at pet-friendly locations around town, giving your dog real-world experience in different settings. During these lessons, we focus on teaching core commands such as sit, stay, come, and heel, while also addressing behaviors like leash manners and impulse control. Our goal is to create a dog that listens reliably and behaves appropriately in everyday situations.
Each private lesson is tailored to your dog’s individual temperament, age, and specific challenges. We take the time to assess your dog’s behavior and progress at every session, adjusting our training techniques accordingly. Our experienced trainers will guide you through effective methods for teaching commands, handling common issues, and encouraging positive cooperation. These personalized lessons not only improve your dog’s obedience but also strengthen your bond and build mutual trust. As you see progress, you'll gain confidence in managing your dog’s behavior and educating them in a positive, supportive manner.
Once your private lessons are successfully completed, you will have the opportunity to join our group classes.
These classes are designed to reinforce your dog’s training by introducing more distractions and varied environments. The group setting encourages socialization with other dogs and handlers, which is vital for developing well-behaved dogs that can handle different situations.
Our group classes are fun, engaging, and structured to gradually increase difficulty, helping your dog apply skills learned in private lessons to more complex and distracting environments.
Our group classes are divided into different levels to suit your dog’s current skills. The Beginners/Intermediate class is perfect for dogs new to training or those needing a refresher. In these classes, we focus on reinforcing basic commands such as sit, stay, leave it, and loose-leash walking. We also emphasize socialization and impulse control in a controlled environment, helping shy or reactive dogs build confidence. The classes encourage positive interactions and teach handlers how to effectively communicate with their dogs in a group setting.
For dogs that have a solid understanding of basic commands, our Advanced classes take training to the next level. Here, we introduce more challenging exercises like off-leash work, longer durations of stays, and commands performed at greater distances. We deal with real-world scenarios such as leaving distractions behind and maintaining focus amid increased stimuli. These sessions are excellent for dogs that need reliable obedience in more dynamic environments, preparing them for everyday adventures or specialized activities.
In addition to obedience training, we offer specialized classes to keep your dog mentally and physically stimulated. Trick Training is a fun, confidence-boosting class that teaches dogs impressive tricks and agility skills, fostering confidence and bonding. Rally Obedience combines traditional commands in a fun, rally-style course, promoting precision and teamwork between handler and dog. Nose Work classes activate your dog’s natural scenting abilities and provide mental enrichment that can tire out even the most energetic dogs.
We also provide classes focused on fitness and conditioning to maintain your dog’s health and agility, as well as Pack Walks and Socials that give your dog opportunities for healthy socialization and exercise in a controlled, group environment. These activities promote good manners around other dogs, help burn off excess energy, and build a balanced, well-rounded canine. Each of these classes or activities is designed to enhance your dog’s skills, confidence, and enjoyment of training, making the journey both rewarding and fun for you and your dog.
We encourage you to continue your dog’s training journey by joining our drop-in group classes. Scheduled three times a week, these classes provide flexibility, allowing you to fit training into your busy routine. To make your training experience even more convenient, we offer 6 & 12 class punch cards, making it easier to commit to your dog’s progression without the pressure of a long-term contract.
