Beginners Class

Ready to build a respectful, reliable relationship with your dog? Our 6-Week Beginner Group Class is designed for adolescent and adult dogs (5 months and older) who need clear communication, structure, and real-world manners.

We use a balanced approach — combining positive reinforcement (rewards, praise, treats) with fair, humane corrections (tools like prong collars or low-level e-collar when needed) — to teach your dog both what to do and what not to do. The result? Faster, more consistent obedience in everyday life!

In this supportive small-group setting, you'll master essential skills:

  • Reliable sit, down, stay, and come — even around distractions

  • Loose-leash walking — no more pulling or lunging

  • Polite greetings — teach calm, four-on-the-floor behavior (no jumping!)

  • Leave it and strong impulse control for food, toys, people, and other dogs

  • Calm, respectful behavior around distractions and other dogs

  • Real-life manners: door manners, settling quietly, and more

Classes are practical, hands-on, and tailored to help you communicate clearly with your dog. By the end of the 6 weeks, you'll have a well-mannered companion who listens reliably — at home, on walks, and in the real world!
